Metz gardens

Right in the heart of the town, on Sainte-Croix hill, you will find the Tanneurs garden, inspired by the Mediterranean, and the splendid Récollets Cloisters (14th century), which today houses the European Institute of Ecology and the Municipal Archives, as well as a Physic Garden where you will able to discover, or rediscover, a variety of medicinal plants.

The vast Esplanade French formal garden, in the old citadel district, reveals its elegant statuary and harmonious fountains a stone's throw away from the town's shopping streets.

Option : with your coach, visit the Botanical Garden, a 4.4-hectares landscaped park created in 1866, and a member of the “Jardins sans Limites” network.
