Introduction
This parish church, completed in 1740, has a sober architecture in keeping with the surrounding barracks. It was Marshal de Belle-Isle, military governor of Metz and a fervent supporter of the city's architectural development, who decided to build a church in the new town. Inside, the choir is decorated with frescoes by the Ecole de Metz painter Auguste Hussenot.
