Sites and monuments around Metz:

  • The Roman aqueduct is 22 km long and supplied Metz with water at Ars-sur-Moselle and Jouy-aux-Arches.
  • The Vins de Moselle (Moselle wines) route*: 46 km long, the Vins de Moselle route in the Metz country crosses the wine-growing region on the outskirts of Metz, and can be followed by car, by bike, or even on foot. Far from being limited to certain estates, it connects 20 villages between Fey in the south and Marange-Silvange in the north, and makes it possible to discover the historical heritage, as well as orchards and vineyards, along the way. There is also the opportunity to admire the Lorraine plateau and the Moselle valley from the hilltops.
