Introduction

This church is one of the oldest parishes in Metz. Built on the ancient Roman rampart, it has no façade and the south arm of the transept was shortened by the construction of Rue Lasalle. The 1881 stained-glass windows were designed by Laurent-Charles Maréchal, a master glassmaker and leader of the Ecole de Metz, whose work can be found throughout the city.
