Introduction
The "Peindre le Volume" workshop offers a series of sheets with 3D shapes to cut out and assemble.
Children will start by painting these shapes, inspired by architectural motifs taken from photos of the Centre Pompidou-Metz and the surrounding area.
The aim is to create paintings linked to the area, then transform these paintings into volumes, which will then be arranged on a table, among the creations of the other participants. The final result will take the form of an imaginary city, made up of personal creations, each linked to an aspect of the area.
Damien Poulain's work is nomadic and contextual in nature. His imprint ranges from monumental interventions to small-scale paintings, which he produces in a continuous series linked to place and time. His projects invite intercultural engagement and build communities, spreading a universal message of love, beauty and possibility.
For children aged 5 to 10, with registration.
