Évènement - Metz Beer Fest 2026

Since 2019, the MBF has been the Metz International Craft Beer Festival!

Metz is also the home of Saint Arnould, the patron saint of Lorraine’s brewers… who has been inspiring the people of Lorraine who have been organizing this festival ever since.

Above all, the MBF is the most international craft beer festival in the Grand Est region! More than twenty French and international breweries are invited each year to let you sample their finest brews. They come from all corners of Europe, France, and the world!

In the days leading up to the festival, participating breweries will also be featured in several bars across Metz for a week of TTO (Tape Take Over, or “Prise de Bec”). It’s the perfect way to get in the mood! All events during this “warm-up” week are, of course, free.

The MBF also features Beer Tasting Workshops! As in previous years, we’re offering you a chance to share and learn with a certified beer sommelier. A spot in the workshop does not include admission to the festival; you’ll need to add the ticket to your cart. Be warned—spots are going as fast as a cold, frothy beer!

Which artists will be performing? Two DJ sets featuring different crews to get the dance floor grooving.The Artisan Market is also making a comeback! (All centered around beer, of course.) Featuring artists, authors, creators, tattoo artists, illustrators, florists, chefs, brewers…As usual, a variety of food trucks—serving both savory and sweet options—will be there to pair your beer with extraordinary flavors… There’ll be something for every taste—and for just about every diet!

The MBF aims to be inclusive and safe: there’s no place for inappropriate behavior (harassment, verbal or physical abuse, etc.). A Safe Space is available on Bliiida if needed. Support staff wearing yellow caps are there to help you!
How does it work? A festival ticket always includes the official 2026 edition tasting glass (glass, marked in 10cl and 25cl). A festival ticket does not include a spot in a tasting workshop—these are two separate tickets. So you must first get your ticket for the MBF, then register for a workshop, in order to attend.
To purchase drinks by the glass, only tokens are accepted (if you have tokens left over from previous years, bring them with you—they’re reusable).Each brewery sets its own tasting and sales prices (for example, 10 cl may cost 1 or 2 tokens). For all other purchases (boxes, cans, merchandise, etc.), payment is made in cash or by credit card directly to the brewery—not with tokens.
