Introduction
Shigeru Ban, the avant-garde architect of his building, is honored with an exhibition of his own design. More than a retrospective, it plunges into his thinking, between rigor and lightness, innovation and humanity, and reveals through his experiments how cardboard or recycled wood become living, poetic and responsible architecture. Known as the "emergency architect", he invents shelters for disaster victims and sustainable buildings that celebrate the beauty of the simple. In his exhibition scenography, light, silence and transparency create a space that breathes and comes alive.
