Introduction
THE DAYS THAT BURN - concert discussion
Through the lens of authentic letters from Pôle Emploi and contemporary poems (Tarkos, Pennequin), “Les jours qui brûlent” explores the theme of social violence and the personal suffering it engenders. With humor and dissonance, these texts are accompanied by music that deliberately breaks down genre barriers, offering a visceral expression of life’s fundamentals: inner turmoil, the need to scream, nature, monstrosity, inner peace...
The concert will be preceded by a discussion led by Fanny Zanferrari, head of the Sociology program at the IRTS de Lorraine, Ban-Saint-Martin campus. A post-performance discussion with the audience will also conclude the show.
