Festival - Photographie mon amour

Introduction

The Photographie mon amour festival returns in 2025 for a third edition at Metz's Saint-Vincent basilica.

Photographie mon amour is a convivial event, free and open to all, conducive to sharing and exchange between photography enthusiasts, artists, amateurs and image professionals. This eclectic festival is dedicated to the different fields of photography.

Whether you're an enthusiast or just curious, whether you're a budding artist or an established one, all visitors are invited to get to grips with this artistic medium.

This year, Bout d'essais welcomes photographer Nicolas Boutruche in residence. The unique work produced in Metz will be unveiled during the event.

Other photographers on show include Isabelle Chapuis, who invites viewers to experience the living: human, animal and plant. Vincent Muller documents a new form of intimacy, rarely approached, by asking the question of man's relationship to the object. Randa Mirza denounces the destruction and reconstruction of her native Beirut in Lebanon. Finally, an exhibition will be dedicated to a retrospective of the activities of the Bout d'essais collective, organizer of the festival, as well as to young artists.

Exhibitions are on view from April 2 to May 25, 2025 at the Saint-Vincent Basilica, with a special highlight on the weekend of April 26 and 27, featuring meetings with the artists, guided tours, workshops, stands and workshops, and a photo flea market.

Saint-Vincent Basilica is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm.
