Introduction

Construction of the theater began in 1738, but was delayed by numerous problems (wars, misappropriation of funds, etc.), and the first theatrical performance did not take place until 14 years later. Nevertheless, it is the oldest theater in France still in operation today.
Open according to program.

The theater is currently undergoing renovations, and programming is taking place off-site.
